Google Apps for Education Review

To be honest, this course was very easy for me. I was very familiar with the Google Suite so a lot of the course was review for me. I already use Google Docs, Sheets, Forms, Drive, Contacts, and Shared Drives routinely in my classroom and within my school. I can now work on teaching my students some of the more advanced features of these programs as I am very comfortable with them. The things that were new to me in this course were Google Tasks, Keep, Sites and Blogger. I knew of them but am not as familiar with them. I can see teaching students to use Keep and Tasks to make checklists for what they need to turn in. I did create a basic website for my class but will need more practice to get it to where I want it. I am learning the Google Sites and will continue to hone my skills on that program. Blogger I used in my Instructional Technology course and never really used it. I think right now I will focus on a website but maybe in the future I can add a link to Blogger to better increase communication with students and parents. Overall this course has updated me to some of the changes in the Google Suite and taught me some tricks for the programs I use regularly. The new components of the Google Suite will require more time to master.
