About me

I love science and figuring out how things work. I have been with the CNMI Public School System for 15+ years. I have always taught at Saipan Southern High School. Of those 15 years, 10+ of them were as a teacher teaching Chemistry, Physics, and a freshmen level introductory science course and 6 of them as a counselor. While in college I did research on coral reefs looking at increased carbon dioxide levels and how the growth rates of coral are affected by it. This was done at the Biosphere 2 Center in Oracle, Arizona.

I have two bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Political Science with a minor in Chemistry from the University of North Texas. I also have a Master’s Degree in International Teaching from
Framingham State University. With my background, I will help you rediscover the amazing world of science and how it happens in the real world.
